A Closer Look at the Brand New Icon Loft on Royal Caribbean's Icon of the Seas

Icon of the Seas has officially debuted, introducing many new suite and stateroom categories. Star Class, the pinnacle of Royal Suite Class, has 2 new categories- the Ultimate Family Townhouse (see our blog post here), and the beautiful Icon Loft. The Icon Loft offers the incredibly popular loft layout, with 2-story high floor-to-ceiling windows, and a large deck for beautiful ocean views. At Harr Travel, we were also excited to see an Accessible Icon Loft on Icon as well, something we know Royal fans will be excited about.
The Space
As you enter the front door, you immediately notice the incredible amount of natural light throughout the space- thanks to the large wall of windows. There is a small nook under the stairs for shoes, and a full bathroom on the ground floor- perfect for those staying on the fold-out sofa. There is a full dining table for in-suite dining (remember with Star Class you can have specialty dining delivered right to your room in addition to room service), and a coffee maker with coffee and tea options for the mornings. The living room is large, with a comfy chair and sectional sofa by the window, and a large flat-screen tv on the wall for in-suite movie nights.
Upstairs in the loft you will find the large king size bed facing toward the windows, and a small vanity for getting ready in the mornings. Curtains can pull around for complete privacy, and there is plenty of storage at the top of the stairs for luggage. The master bathroom offers a large step-in shower, and sink with ample of counter space and storage.
Outside on your own private veranda, you can enjoy the comfortable chairs, as well as a full dining table where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner at any time of the day while you watch the world go by!
Star Class
As always in Star Class, the entire ship is open to you. With the help of your Royal Genie and the concierge team, you will get everything you want, when you want, and however you want it. The ship is your oyster, whether that means enjoying the complimentary specialty dining every night in the dining rooms, or in-suite, never waiting in lines for an activity, or having special reserved seating at all the shows onboard- you will have everything you desire while sailing in Star Class on Icon of the Seas. In addition Star Suite guests also have access to the suite-only spaces including the Grove, the Suite Sundeck, and Coastal Kitchen for breakfast, lunch, and dinner...and on Icon Coastal Kitchen overlooks the AquaDome Theater so you can have your dinner and a show at the same time!
