The time has come! Royal Caribbean's 2nd Icon Class ship, Star of the Seas has officially arrived, ready to kick off her inaugural season with week-long cruises in the Eastern and Western Caribbean. Star of the Seas offers 8 distinct neighborhood districts onboard. From thrilling waterslides, to relaxing pools, there is something for everyone onboard. Here is a closer look at some of our favorite spots onboard Star.
SUITE NEIGHBORHOOD | Guests in Star and Sky Class will have unlimited access to the Suite Neighborhood featuring Coastal Kitchen for breakfast, lunch, and dinner; the Grove, a spacious sundeck with a mediterranean style buffet; a suite loung, bar, and incredible views from the very top of the ship!
Harr Travel Insider Tip: When dining at Coastal Kitchen, be sure to request a table by the window overlooking the AquaTheater, you may be able to catch a performance or practice session of the Aqua Show.
ROYAL PROMENADE | Right at the heart of the ship is the Royal Promenade, offering a wide array of shops, bars, and entertainment. Catch a parade, grab a drink at a bar, or find the perfect souvenir. This bustling thoroughfare is always alive with activity.
Harr Travel Inside Tip: Don't sleep on the Pearl Cafe. This is a beautiful spot to enjoy a quick bite with incredible ocean views out the 2-story window.
THRILL ISLAND | Located at the very top of the ship, Thrill Island is the place to get a rush of adrenaline. Here you will find Category 6 Waterpark, the fear-inducing ropes course called the Crown's Edge, mini golf, and more! The perfect place for fun, thrills, and family time!
Harr Travel Insider Tip: Just outside the forward elevators on Deck 15, and tucked behind the Lime & Coconut Bar is a 2nd Sprinkles soft serve location. Having 2 Sprinkles in both Chill island and Surfside is a game changer!
CHILL ISLAND | For those seeking more relaxed experience, Chill Island is the place to unwind and relax in the sun. Here you will find various pools, lounge chairs, and the fan favorite Lime & Coconut bar for a cool, tropical drink.
Harr Travel Insider Tip: Rent the cabanas at the Swim & Tonic Bar. These Cabanas are tucked away at the end of the deck, so there is less foot traffic, making your time more relaxing and exclusive.
SURFSIDE | Designed with families in mind, Surfside is a colorful and lively neighborhood featuring a splash park for kids and nearby casual dining options. Parents can relax knowing their little ones are having a blast in a safe and engaging environment.

AQUADOME | Home to the breathtaking AquaTheater, this neighborhood is all about spectacular entertainment, delicious casual dining, and relaxation. Grab a bite at the AquaDome Market, and enjoy the incredible Aqua Shows, filled with diving, acrobatics, and intense choreographed dance numbers. Just beyond the theater is the Overlook, a relaxation spot with incredible views out the crown of the ship.

THE HIDEAWAY | Located at the very aft-top of the ship, this incredible adults-only space offers an incredible suspended infinity pool, large hot tubs, a bar, and a multi-tiered sun deck. It's a great place to unwind and enjoy a quieter area away from the hustle and bustle of the family spaces onboard.
