Norwegian Cruise Line, a leader in global cruising, has just announced some thrilling updates to two of its beloved ships, the Norwegian Epic and Pride of America, just in time for the summer 2025 travel season. Prepare for expanded family fun, exclusive adult escapes, more staterooms, and incredible bucket-list destinations!
NCL is clearly committed to giving guests MOREÂ of what they love, focusing on freedom and flexibility to craft the perfect vacation. Let's dive into the exciting enhancements awaiting you!

NORWEGIAN EPIC (DEBUTING MAY 8, 2025)
Following a three-week dry dock, the Norwegian Epic is set to make a splash in Europe with some fantastic top-deck transformations. Guests can soak up the Mediterranean sun in a brand-new hot tub on Deck 18. Families will be thrilled with the refreshed Kids' Aqua Park, replacing Splashgolf with even more fun water activities for all ages.
For those seeking a tranquil retreat, the adults-only Vibe Beach Club is getting a significant upgrade. Replacing the Posh Beach Club, this outdoor oasis will boast an additional hot tub, more luxurious lounge chairs, and brand-new private cabanas. Here guests can unwind with breathtaking views of the Greek Isles and the Mediterranean.
In addition, Epic will also feature eight new staterooms, offering a mix of balconies and ocean views, providing even more options for your European getaway.
Starting May 8, 2025, the newly enhanced Norwegian Epic will embark on a series of captivating nine, ten, and eleven-day cruises from Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy. She will explore the stunning ports of the Mediterranean and Greek Isles, including the iconic Santorini and Mykonos in Greece, the historic Valletta in Malta, and the cultural hubs of Naples, Catania, and Florence/Pisa (Livorno) in Italy.
Later in the year, the Norwegian Epic will return to San Juan, Puerto Rico, offering enticing seven-day Southern Caribbean cruises to destinations like Tortola, St. John's, Bridgetown, Castries, Philipsburg, and St. Thomas.

PRIDE OF AMERICA (DEBUTING MAY 31, 2025)
NCL's Pride of America, the only ship offering year-round inter-island Hawaiian cruises, is also receiving some exciting upgrades during its dry dock from May 3 to 31, 2025. Coffee lovers will rejoice with the addition of a new Starbucks location within The Capitol Atrium on Deck 5. For those with a competitive spirit, get ready to enjoy a friendly game of pickleball on the revamped sports court!
When it comes to accommodations, guests will have more choices than ever before, with the addition of 12 new club balcony suites and three inside staterooms on Deck 12. The ship's youth clubs, Splash Academy (for ages 3-12) and Entourage (for teens), will be relocated to Deck 6, making way for a brand-new Library and Card Room.
Upon its return to Honolulu on May 31, 2025, the upgraded Pride of America will continue its award-winning seven-day inter-island cruises. This incredible itinerary offers nearly 100 hours of port time, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of Maui and Kauai with overnight stays, alongside visits to the stunning islands of Oahu and Hawaii.
