Norwegian Aqua is here!!! Norwegian Cruise Line's first Prima-Plus Class ship has begun her inaugural sailing today, making new waves, and elevating vacations to another level! This innovative new arrival to the fleet offers expanded outdoor spaces, first-of-its-kind experiences, and a wide-array of spacious suites within The Haven complex. SHIP OVERVIEW
This beautiful ship weighs in at 156,300 gross registered tons, accommodating up to 3,571 passengers at double capacity. She stands at 20 decks tall with incredible onboard offerings from the Drop slide, the Glow Court sports complex, and the brand new Aqua Slidecoaster! New/changed venues include:
AQUA SLIDECOASTER | This is a hybrid waterslide and rollercoaster that will give guests a rush a adrenaline as they fly along the track at the very top of the ship.
GLOW COURT | This is a high-tech sports court where guests can enjoy a little competitive time with friends and family that feels like a sci-fi experience!
AQUAPARK & MAIN POOL DECK | Because of the new locations of the water slides onboard Aqua, the main pool deck is looking a bit different. Now there is even more space, leaving the venue looking more elevated than ever. In addition, there will now be daybeds around the pool, which is a brand new infinity edge style!
VIBE BEACH CLUB | The popular club for guests 18 and over has been expanded on Aqua. This area is a peaceful oasis onboard a ship full of adventure and thrills. Vibe is the place to relax, enjoy a cocktail from the bar, and take a dip in the infinity pools and hot tubs. Passes are always limited to this private retreat, meaning you can enjoy a less crowded area while onboard.
THE BULL'S EYE BAR | This fun take on dart games with virtual components to make the game more interactive- a complimentary experience. In addition this venue is also be a full service bar with hand-crafted cocktails for purchase, so you can enjoy a social evening with friends; playing darts and toasting the night away.
SUKHOTHAI | For the first time, Norwegian is introducing a Thai specialty restaurant- Sukhothai. The menu features authentic cuisine with dynamic flavors including Thai Cashew Chicken, Salt and Pepper Prawns, and a delicious Thai Grilled Steak Salad.
PLANTERIE | The Indulge Food Hall- one of the most popular complimentary dining spaces onboard the ship- is now offering a new restaurant on Aqua. Planterie is a plant-based restaurant offering bowls and various healthy options. Menu highlights include: the Mediterranean Goddess Bowl with spiced veggies, tabbouleh, and carrots; and the Southwest Bowl with smoked tempe.
SWIRL | This wine lounge is located on Deck 6, featuring a comprehensive menu of wine-by-the-glass, including an extensive list of rare and premium vintages. The space's architecture is inspired by the beauty of Arizona's Antelope Canyon, offering a warm and inviting space to enjoy a glass of wine with friends before dinner.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Boasting the largest accommodations of NCL's entire fleet, Norwegian Aqua is making a few style changes within the accommodations. The elevated designs are reminiscent of a mid-century modern New York City penthouse apartment, with contemporary wall art, houndstooth sofas, and clean lines throughout. It's an entirely different look than Prima and Viva, but just as elegant as ever!
The Haven by Norwegian will also be featured onboard Aqua. This ship-within-a-ship concept offers a wide array of luxurious suites that include personalized butler service, a dedicated concierge team, and access to the most exclusive spaces onboard the ship. Guests booking a Haven suite will have key-card access to the premier Haven Sundeck, Haven Lounge, Haven Pool, and the Haven Restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. ITINERARIES
Aqua will begin her inaugural season with sailings to the Caribbean from Port Canaveral, Florida. Guests will have the opportunity to sail for a week on this beautiful vessel, visiting incredible tropical destinations throughout the Caribbean, including select itineraries with port stops at Great Stirrup Cay, NCL's private Bahamian island!
