Get ready for a flavorful adventure! Hurtigruten is launching a brand-new collection of culinary voyages in fall 2025, designed to immerse travelers in the local tastes of Norway.
These itineraries will be a week long, beginning with 3 nights on the iconic Original Coastal Express sailing from Bergen to Stamsund. After disembarking, guests will have the incredible opportunity to spend 2 nights at the farms of Hurtigruten's local partners, nestled away in the stunning Lofoten and Vestarålen islands. The journey finished with a final night's stay near Lungen Fjord, at a local distillery in the northern part of the country.
Hurtigruten's Norway's Coastal Kitchen program has recently earned recognition from Food & Wine as one of the 2025 Global Tastemakers; and these brand new itinerary offerings are expanding on this achievement.
CULINARY DETAILS The culinary journeys begin in Bergen, treating guests to local seafood delicacies, regional tasting menus, and a unique Sámi-inspired dinner. Travelers will then disembark to explore local farms and partake in chef-led culinary experiences, including an impressive 17-course tasting menu at Kvitnes Gård. The itinerary also includes guided tours of distilleries and breweries, featuring visits to the world’s northernmost whisky distillery and Mack Brewery.
These tours will have an emphasis on sustainability and regional ingredients throughout Norway.
